The Greater York Area Chamber of Commerce is an organization that joins business and professional people from the area to promote their communities, encourage economic and community development, create job opportunities, and advocate private enterprise.
Through the Chamber of Commerce, a number of events are organized, throughout the year, to promote the York area, its businesses and economy. Some of those Chamber-sponsored events include the Farmers Market, Yorkfest, the annual summer Sidewalk Sales, the spring “Peep Show,” the Chamber Golf Tournament, Business After Hours and much more.

York County
Development Corporation
Founded in 1997, the York County Development Corporation is a cooperative partnership of public and private sectors including York County, York County municipalities, businesses, organizations and individuals. It is the only organization working full-time to keep existing businesses healthy, diversify the county’s business mix, and assist new business start-up. In addition, the development corporation advocates and initiates for housing, infrastructure, technology and workforce development, working with numerous partners to bring state and federal technical and financial resources to York County.
