Parks
- Village Green Park is located near the town hall on Main Street. It has picnic tables and a merry-go-round.
- McCool Park is located two blocks north of the co-op elevator.
Playground, picnic shelters, grills,
volleyball net and a baseball/softball field.  Restrooms and a camping area equipped with electrical hook-ups are available. Call the Town Hall if
interested in having a family picnic or other events at the park.

Community Goups/Clubs
- Senior citizens meet every Wednesday and Friday for lunch at the McCool Junction Town Hall. Make reservations 24 hours in advance.
- Iron Horse Station G518 meets the first Tuesday of the month at the home of Carol Smith at 7:30 p.m.  The goal of the group is to restore the old railroad depot.
- McCool Community Club is a group which works to improve the community as a whole. They hold fund raisers to work on community projects.
- The volunteer fire department meets the last Monday of the month at 7 p.m.
